There are many ways to store and display coins. Deciding what to collect will help determine the most appropriate means of display. Type sets are generally stored in coin albums or loose leaf coin pages which are then put into three-ring binders. Because there are no commercially available coin albums for ancient coins, if you have a type set of some sort you will have to improvise.
Coins that are similar are often kept together. Those that are not displayed can be kept in plastic tubes. Really nice examples can be put into special coin cases that seal to protect them. Other alternatives include velvet-lined coin trays, filing boxes, coin encapsulation and even mounting in jewelry!
